Hey!
The light in the dash flashing like a disco. And half the side is blue and the other side is white, presumably someone who has changed bulbs and not quite got it right. Anyone know how I get replacement bulbs in dash. how do I get out dashboard
Tempcensor is also unstable bouncing up and down.
Oil lamp blinks all the time
Anybody have a solution to this?
Thanks for any reply ..

Welcome to the forum
Have a look here on how the dash/clocks are removed. http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90618.0 :y

Dash pops out easily, a few minutes to do. As said see Andy's link above.

Ye did that, but didn't resolve any problem.
Can It be a defect relay ?

Can It be a defect relay ?
The dash just has normal push-in bulbs in there, I can't see why they would flash
Outside temp display is likely to be a faulty outside temperature sensor ..... it lives on the under edge of the front bumper.
Oil light flashing ..... are you sure that is not because your oil pressure is low? :-\

Possably fault with the dash light dimmer control. Had that on older cars before

No, Cause they work, just flash time at time. One of the sides of the dash Is stable at all time.

Fair dos :y
Try Keiths suggestion and swap the headlight switch, see if that makes any difference :-\

It's the rpm and half of the speedometer thats flashes.
not the outside temp i ment, Motor temp, jumps up and down.
Oil pressure and level is fine.
The dim switch work just fine.

Any evidence of arcing on the contacts behind the cluster, either on the back of the unit, or where it connects to the dashboard loom :-\
-
Check the grounding points behind the dash.

Faulty alternator regulator?
I don't know how probable it is but I would check the voltage to reassure myself that a faulty regulator wasn't toasting the electrics.

I had the same issue with the tempreture gauge and found that the temp gauge was faulty, replaced with a gauge found at a scrapper and gauge issue was sorted, but as to dash bulbs it has got to be either faulty bulbs or the dash contacts need to be cleaned with contact cleaner or as the the boy suggested check and clean the earth points behind dashboard.
