Title: Cambelt change

Hi I am changing a Cambelt shortly on an omega 2.0 just wondering does the water pump run off the Cambelt too I now it does on vectra 2.0 is this the same, also what are the intervals to change these on a 2.0 is 6000 or 4 years what ever comes first thanks for your help

4 years or 40k miles, which ever is first. Change the whole lot, including tensioners. Waterpump is cambelt driven, must be replaced too.

Use a cam lock, ensure timing is right at top and bottom  :y

Nice easy job on the 4 pot petrols. Waterpump at same time as tunnie says, which makes it a convenient time to do the coolant as well.

4yrs/40k, whichever comes first, as tunnie says :)

Yes like they said don't do what I did and leave it the bearing in water pump became noise after a few weeks but not a hassle to Change really I've got it down to less than an hour :y
