The coil on plugs you have changed were they new or s/h,? as it sounds like you have a faulty coil problem still, as to crank sensor, pattern parts are very hit and miss as to quality, find out from the fitter if it was a gen vx part or an oe pattern part as this could still be part of the issue you have.
check the codes again and see if a 19 appears. or any new codes.

the part was genuine from vauxhall the plugs were from vauxhall too ? no 5 was a bit awkward could it be not in properly ? will check i am going up to see hotel21 in a few minutes to get tech 2 on it thanks so far
-
so been to see hotel21 checked codes definite fault code misfire no 5,so have taken plug out and changed with new one so will try this and hotel21 will re check codes tonight hopefully this will solve problem
-
so just been out eml on checked codes now have 0300 multiple misfire detected 0305 misfire no 5 0330 knock sensor fault bank 2
i just wanna scream >:(
-
Did you get Hotel21 to check the fuel trims?
Blocked cat on the 1,3,5 bank?
-
0300 is a general misfire that the ecu can't quite pin down.
0305 is a definite misfire at cylinder 5
0330 is the knock sensor kicking off because of the misfire at cylinder 5
Either coil pack playing up or a loom fault :y

Brian, you said you had problems detaching and reattaching the coilpack connector. Also problems with removing and replacing plug 5.
When you redid your work today was all good and connections sound?
For others, long term trims were both zero and short terms were circa 7 and 12, as I recall, but were really bouncing around. No faults were current but several multiple misfires and plug 5 historics.
Might be worth borrowing the 1/3/5 pack from mine for a test and/or fault confirmation?
-
Worth swapping Mafs? Re trims?
Speed read, apologies if un appropriate.

hi broocie was going to text maybe will anyway but yes to borrowing your 1/3/5 dis pack see if any change and regarding the connection plug still cannot get that to click,i changed no 5 plug ,anyways let me know when can come up thanks and thanks to all others for their support hopefully will try rectify in next couple days :)
-
thanks hotel21 raining pouring down but still helped by swapping coil pack so now we know spark plugs ok ,coil pack ok so wiring next
-
so today had a look around all wire connections seem fine i reset fault codes ran for a bit then no 5 misfire again, any ideas?
have tried swapping coils with hotel21 changed spark plug in no 5 still no change, so assuming having other codes such as knock sensor bank 2 maybe related to this misfire in no 5?
i am stumped now any help would be appreciated :-[

knock sensor lead might be damaged-that can cause lumpy running :y
