I assume you mean at the top? It shares tge "B.stard Bolt" with the transfer pipe from the thermostat and the engine lifting bracket :y
-
All done, webby got it in 1st time lol ;D
-
cheers guys and massive thanks again to the mad mechanic :y
yeah got a bit lucky with the dipstick..... put it in roughly where I thought it should go, gave it a wiggle and it went in the hole :) bit of bashing with a hammer on a block of wood to get it in..... job done :y :y :y
its soooo very nearly done. got to get the aux belt tensioner off as I think the front cambelt cover needs replacing as its rubbing against the tensioner.... think it got warped when it got hot. lucky I have a spare :y
so...... downpipe bolts. then all the bits at the front. and its ready to start :y :y :y

this may sound mental. BUT
if you have a small jack place it in the engine bay above the dipstick tube. cable tie the dipstick tube hole (where the bolt secures it) then loop it round the jack head. then pump away and let the jack pull it out. just an idea
-
Two 16 stone jacks with a pair of molegrips squashing it couldn't budge it :-\

I had first dibs, as you decided the b-bolt was too hard.
Therefore, it must be my fault ;D. So. no, I couldn't possibly have touched it, no, not me. ;D
-
;D you couldn't get the bsdtd bolt back in either iirc, still, not my car ::)
