Can you stop being a safari park chimp whilst looking at God Jobs for a mo, please.
What is the latest version of iOS for each gayPad?
My bro's IF Credit supplier have pissed about with their website, which has stopped his gayPad from working with it, and have started their support by saying he needs to "put the latest iOS on it".
-
My solution - guide the punter over to a proper Windows PC - met with the usual grunts and huffs.
-
Sorry is this your way if asking for something? Because these chimps, whoever they are, might consider telling you to naf right off.
I know I would. ;D
-
7.0.2 is latest I think.
-
As above, 7.0.2 :y
-
As above, and above, 7.0.2 :D

Frankly, if a site is so incompetently maintained that they feel the need to specify what OS version I need to access it, I'd vote with my feet. ;D

i think the belligerent microsoft luvvie is asking which iPads support which version of iOS.
, like the iPhone, the 3GS only goes up to iOS 6.x , for iOS7 you need iPhone 4 or later. but offhand i think all the iPads will run 7 , however, I don;t have an iPad... never mind a collection of all generations, to test this theory with.

Wifey has an ipad 2 running iOS7, slowly. ::)

We have still not updated the ipad on advice from IT

To elaborate further, Chimp says his ipad2 is running 7.0.2 quite happily. :)

Wish I'd have taken this advice with my phone. :o ;D

iPad mini on ios7 is now crashing back to the home screen, unresponsive, and slow(er). Funny though, rumours of a new mini soon. Oh really. That'll go the same way the first iPad did then. Latest update being 5.something.
I realise the iphone5 is more powerful but I'm not in a rush to update the phone as a result. And now want an my old ios6 back on the mini. It was much more stable.

Indeed.
Turns out, its an original gayPad, thus iOS5 is the latest and greatest. However, gayTunes has done a number on it, and wiped it, and lost all his pics, so he is mighty pissed off currently.
Too pissed off to try if its fixed the stupid bloody website problem. Which I doubt it will.
I know, why use a stupid gayPad to store all your personal photos on, esp as you put it in the hands of Joe Public to apply for credit on, but see what I have to deal with? In fact why use a gaypad anyway, as they are prone to input errors, and he has more than enough proper PCs around the shops to get the customers to use. But no, he thinks they'd rather use gayPads. I give up.
I need a pint. Or several.

Would it be childish to say "I told you so" ;D

Though it sounds as if you have learnt from your mistake...

I believe you can go backwards, seem to recall you have edit a file and to fool the device its getting a later version of the ios......so for example you edit an ios6 file to ios7.5 and it will take the update :y
Do a google on it as I carnt remember exactly what you have to do to fool it :)

Listen, you irritating little man. (So yes it is childish ;D )
I did say, from the outset, that I would try it on the mini first. Then see if its worth bothering with the phone. It isn't. Unless a torch in the pop up control panel is really worth considering. ::)

Nope, due to the way it is signed by crApple (which was strengthened in iOS5 and again in iOS6). *IF* you captured the signing packets, there is some scope for playback type attacks.
