...the day when we demonstrated our willing of independency. Took a short month before the revenge but it was a real generation feeling/experience when the small Hungary took a bite out of the big Sovietunion's self confidence.

A lot of brave people perished in the uprising and your country has my admiration, Laslo.
Poland, too, suffered badly under soviet rule. Two proud nations who were shit upon by the allies.

A day well worth celebrating and remembering for Hungarians. :y
Hopefully,in the next few years we will be able to celebrate our own independence day. :)

Sorry to digress, Laslo.
No chance, Albs. I reckon when/if we get a referendum, the majority will vote to stay in. Once we get past the overblown issues that UKIP and the tabloids throw at us, the real issues will come to the fore.

I fear you may be right,although for the wrong reasons.The establishment and most of the media will cloud the real issues with a hugely funded campaign of spin.But if it turns out that way,Im certain we will regret it in the long term.

Thanks for responses,  :y if some of you interested in making a short 360^o celebration seeing then click to the link below. Roll down then keep  the left button pushing on mouse and moving the cursor on the pics that found in the middle of page. Zoom : roll on the pic.
