Been onto a fella that is currently making me up a blanking kit for the 2.5td tractor. His kit is already cheaper than others out there and there is the possibility of a group / bulk buy from him. Mine will be delivered in a week or two so will get plenty of pictures up then. Waiting on a reply to prices and numbers at the minute so trying to gaugr to see if there would be any interest in this.

About 50p worth of metal to blank it, esp if the pipe from exhaust to EGR is still OK (use a coke can).
Diesels do use a lot of EGR to help with economy, so do your homework first, rather than just do it as the bloke down the pub said so, based on his experience with a petrol and a knackered EGR ;)

Im having to invest in one as I have boost leak from the round ufo looking bit to the right hand side. Plus will look better and shiney and only marginally more exoensive than buying a 2nd hand one

Plus nkodaft pipe / rod what ever that bit is on the inside that works the egr = better air flow

I shall be interested to hear what the results are. I have resisted this due to conflicting opinions of its efficacy on the TD. :-\

Ive boost leak from my current egr so this thing will make quite a difference due fiximg the leak. On any other car dont know. Obvuously some peoples bar room claims of 5 or 10 bhp is madness but its bound to make some difference. And in the words of tescos, every little helps
