Title: Clutch : cracking noise when gearing
Post by: Johnny English on 31 October 2013, 12:18:22
Hi all, I've already changed full clutch kit the noise stayed though... :-\ the slave cylinder looked pretty good so I didn't swap it. Now I should decide where to go, gearbox swap or clutch master cylinder...Any idea, please?

TIA

Laszlo

Always change all 3parts of the clutch,it is always the cheapest and easiest thing to do.

I did with no joy  :-\ slave cylinder bearing OK the full kit is OK . I've got either gearbox or master cylinder malfunction but don't want to swap any part if worked fine. How can I decide which one went wrong?
