Hello again,
This might seem rather a question fit to a "Newbie" OOF member lol but i have to ask :/ :-[
I bought my Omega A couple days ago, and it is in such a bad shape. I might have to spend months on even make it street-legal in a sense xD Frankly, i fell in love with the car although it is in such a bad state.
I found it a lot stable and fun to drive than my last project (Mercedes-Benz W123 280E 1978).
So without further ado, one of the things i noticed is that the side skirt fitted differs in color than the rest of the kit. On close examination i found out that it is made of metal sheets or aluminum. The rest of the kit is made of plastic. Is it custom made or is it truly a part of the kit but made of another material???

Sounds like somebody has made them up as the originals are plastic & just clip onto the sills. :y

Well, yea you're right.
I actually disassembled the kit yesterday, as part of the work i would be doing on the whole body.
The skirt has been crafted out of plain metal sheets. I will be looking for the OE replacement this week.
Thanks for the welcoming Vamps :)
