Title: Is it just me?

When you are tightening the wheel bolts after doing a job/changing for a spare.........does that final little nip up at the end make you bottom go "peep" ?

Have you got the problem my Granny has as well.  Her bottom makes noises as she walks, faster she walks, the quicker the noise.  (bless her)

No because I am always using a calibrated Torque Wrench ::) :y

Don't knock the f@rt method. Highly accurate. Most bolts neet one. Cylinder head bolts need a couple for good measure.






Oh, and crank pulley bolts on an MX-5 need a full follow-through.  :o :-X

I thought that was for the max weight to lift deterent, save hurting your back but embarass yourself completely.

Sometimes you can get away with a quick peek of the turtle's head, other times you're not so lucky.  :-X

There were "air quality" issues at Shifnal too. Couldn't be anything to do with the number of bolts holding the autobox sumps on, could it? :-X

I haven't noticed because normally I pursuade a nice bloke to change my wheel; but his bottom goes 'peep' when his trousers go into the builders bum mode! ;D   Very nice it is too! ;D :y

At least the garage-bloke offers somewhere for the apprentice to park his bike! ;D
