someone mention Saffend. . ?    not my omega that you see though Ian . . .  no other omegas in my road.

Lampy still has one i think   as does Sandune

What colours were the pair you saw ?     there is a pair oposite each other just along from the Bell pub at the start of the A127, one each side of the road . A black one & an older 2.0 grey one . don't know who owns them though :-\ :-\

I've only ever been to Southend once, in the mid 90's. Young lads were driving back and forth along the front, very slowly, with the bass thumping out of their escorts.
Back and forth, round and round. Me and the future missus stopped for a couple of drinks and, by the time we'd finished, they'd been past so many times, we felt we knew them personally.

We'll finally got home after cutting through that London. The kids really enjoyed seeing all the sights they've only seen on TV my little girl loved the 'funny shape and the name' of the gerkin
And my boy well impressed that he seen 2 Ferrari and a lambo.

The insignia although gutless on power(2.0 140) was a cracking car and even better on diesel (300 odd miles to £35) which i though was good considering I drive through London and didn't hang around on the m way. The hand brake took some getting used to as did the first time the engine cut out at traffic lights(stop start).

Couple of niggles though not enough leg room behind me for my girl and where you rest you left arm there is like a mouse pad to control the info system and I kept hitting it with my hand thus clearing the satnav!

But in a whole a serious contender for a replacement for the omega just need a few grand to spare and I'm away ;D
