I must admit, I was a bit miffed this morning when we stopped ar Rownhams services on the M27. We were just talking to say Waitrose respect the two minutes silence in their shops.
Wife  said its just coming up to 11.00. we sat quiet for two minutes.....but there was pop music wailing out of the speakers, loads of people making all sorts of racket. Wife said at Waitrose, they stop serving, and had to come out from behind the counter, and the tannoy system informed customers a number of times about the two minutes silence.
It just annoyed me that Costa, Mcdonalds etc whilst using this country to fill their pockets cannot stop for two minutes in case they lose a couple of quid >:(

Try pulling your car over & standing with your head bowed if you happen to be driving at the Eleventh Hour! I've had occassion to do it only twice over the years thank God, but if the situation arises in the future I will still do it despite every other shameless pillock looking at me like i'm not right in the head as they go about their busy lives regardless! >:(
