As above please...I'm after a CDR 500 with code please.
It's the single din, radio with single cd slot. I know it was fitted to the Vectra B and Astra G...so I would assume it must've come in some PFL or MFL Omega?

Plenty on ebay Josh .........

They really are quite shite, yet seem to hold a price way about its worth.

I couldn't think of any other standard VX fit, that was a radio with a single slot cd?
It's for the police car, so I'll put it in the glove box.
I'll have a look on ebay :y

Are you sure they'll fit & work? andyc tried the CDR500 from my Astra in his(?) Omega and it wouldn't play ball ...... no idea why. Worked fine in the Astra :-\ :-\

If your installing it in the glovebox then no one will see it anyway.... I guess you want something that you can control with the steering wheel controls (assuming your plod has them fitted) and drives the display?
Just wondering if a boot mounted CD Changer (CDC2) and CCR600 headunit would be an option - the autochanger would be hidden in the first aid cubby and a standard loom up to the kick panel (would need soldering though as I bet there's no kick panel connector in an x police) just like a prefacelift setup.
These are the parts from a Vectra

Andy B - I must admit, I just assumed it'd work...thanks for letting me know!
Andy - Thank you...I actually need two, one for the marked estate and one for the unmarked saloon. The multi cd does sound good, but there will be so many wires running to the boot already...I want to try and keep some sort of order ;D
That's why a single cd in the glovebox seemed the best idea. And, as you pointed out I'm trying to stick with VX fitment so the audio controls would work.
