Might even be some OOFers that can remember when flying was like this.

Fortunately I only go back to the days when:

You could smoke at the back of the plane
When the plane started to descend empty cans of beer rolled from the smokers at the back towards the front
Bring as much foreign liquor home as you could physically carry
Duty Free on the plane was actually cheaper than back home prices
Planes provided meals on funny little trays
The airport building at the foreign destination was a hut or a shed.
You could ask for a pillow and a blanket to have a kip.

You need to go on some longer flights, you get most of that!
