Title: Are saloon and estate rear silencers the same (petrol PFL)

R706FHD 1998 2.0 petrol estate
Rear box gone, eternalcar unhelpful. I have a good complete PFL saloon system but no remaining PFL saloons. Will the rear silencer fit?

EPC shows different part numbers for Saloons and Estates, so yes they are different. How different, is anyone's guess.

The pipes into back box from centre are different Saloon/Estate. As I found out.

I've got a brand new 2.0 Estate cat back exhaust here, Eternal one. Yours for £45  :y

Thanks for the very good offer Tunnie. Sadly I am rarely in London or Northants, and I changed the central section last year and only need the back box.
If anyone could use a 2.0 petrol saloon exhaust pre-face lift he may have it as a gift. He will have to collect it from Midsomer Norton, though, and it is assembled, so long.

If he does not want it and you can wait until January time, I may have that off you for mine.
