Title: Radiator question
Post by: danzigfan on 28 November 2013, 08:51:09
Hi guys, I just got a good used radiator of a omega donor...It was 2.0 miggy, but it seems it's a bit different from my miggy's radiator. I added a pic so you'll see it.
I need to know, should I cover those two empty threads on plastic side on the left or is it ment to be used for something important?

Been a while since I had one, but I think that might be the connection for the Auto gearbox oil cooler?

Thanks, but can I ignore those two and just put a screw + o ring in it?

If it is for the autobox, then you can leave them as they are as there should be no connection to the water circuit (you've got a busted radiator if it is!).

They are for "in built" oil cooler for autobox ATF - pipes from auto box connect here.  If manual box just ignore them :y
