Out to day and noticed that the radio button doesn't cancel the warnings that come up on the screen :-\
Any ideas what may cause this please? :y
-
Which button you pressing?
-
You mean the lower button on the left hand side of the wheel?
-
The large round button on the right side of the stereo. Looks the same as the on/off volume button on the left :)
-
Try the button on the Steering Wheel. Left Hand side, the button at the bottom.

Just been out to try that, nope. Still doesn't clear the message. Me thinks I've disturbed something as I removed the stereo yesterday and I didn't have this problem before. The radio works fine, radio 2 is currently on, but unable to change station or do anything else. Bugger
-
You have pulled the radio fascia away from the metal housing (probably buggering the plastic brackets) and the front panel has come unplugged.
-
Just popped out to the car and checked the stereo.
The unit facia is undamaged and is solid, but I did notice that there are 2 "plugs" at the back right hand side of the cage.
The lower one of the 2 I've not pushed home enough and has not clipped onto the cage, hence not plugging into the stereo. I guess that is the cause of the issue ???

We'll that scrubs that then. What the hell I have bloody done to it >:(
If it's not one thing it's another!

If you have disturbed the cage, I would suggest you check that the ISO plug is located correctly in the cage. If not, you won't be getting a good connection with all the pins.

Cheers James, I'll pull it all back out again and check! :y

We'll I pulled all the stereo and kit all back out again today. Secured the aerial properly this time, checked all the other plugs and refitted.
It all works again, yippee.
Thanks to all who commented on this, turns out that it was a case of not checking all plugs were properly secured, phew!
Cheers all :y
