Title: Exhaust Done
Post by: Jimbob on 01 June 2008, 15:08:34
Well I've managed to do the exhaust!

2 of the bolts came out, had to drill the other 2   :-/  Could have been worse.

New one slotted together easily  :D

Crank sensor changed as well, so ready to go  :D

So Jobs done, many a first for me are :

Exhaust (from cat back)
Crank Sensor
Brake Fluid
Front Disks & Pads
Blank EGR
Coolant Flush
Wipers all round
Remove Towbar
Breather Clean
change Spark Plugs
Fuel Filter
Replace Climate bulbs
& Oil & Filter change
Check strap bush

Left to do are a couple of minor things, adjust bonnet catch, replace grommit under Hid washer pump, think thats it  :)

Unsorn and insure next week and she'll be off  :o

Very pleased with myself for managing that lot  :D

Well done mate, that's a decent list  :y

Cheers all.

Yes parts were a pretty penny :(

Year ago no way would I have even thought of tackling that lot, but this place, and watching Mark do various jobs has given me the knowledge and courage to have a go  :y

Not all those jobs strictly needed doing, but as the car is off the road, I had the time to have a go, with no worries if something did go wrong and I had to shout help.

Brake pads are quite easy!  go for it  :y
