would it be wise to put a second hand pas pump in
and dose anyone know were to get one please ie ebay ?
-
IF your pump is tired, yes, replace with a known good 2nd hand one.
-
Put an ad in the wanted section for one... Not sure how your post count affects purchasing on here so check that first .
I don't recall many folk saying these go bad so I would. But that's not necessarily the overall oof view :)

Nowt wrong with second hand as long as the seller is trusted ;)

On an aside I'm doing steering at school at the moment and found out about a pas pressure test. . . Comparing manufacturers spec at various rpm and different lock positions.
Anyone ever had one of these done? I heard the equipment is pretty rare and expensive :-\

We have one installed at the end our street Webby, it's called a Cul de Sac turning circle & if the pump squeals or grinds at full lock we know the pump is begging for mercy! ;D :y
