Title: Dis Pac removal
Post by: blackviper90210 on 13 December 2013, 13:50:59
Hi all,

after my fun of washing the engine bay and appearing to have got water into the dis pac on cylinder 5, I'm now going to remove the dis pac.

Question is regarding the fuel lines, do I just undo them and move them to one side or do I have to do anything else before hand?

TIA :y

Just undo, but make sure

A) engine is cold, you don't want petrol on hot exhaust manifold :)

B) cover the fuel line ends to prevent crap getting in there :y

It's trickier on the passenger side bank so not all bad news. Do you have something to suck it out with Dave?
