Nice car you have there mate  :y I Don't really understand GM engineers as these 15" wheels below a robust looking car seem like a bodybuilder with thin legs. My wheels are also 15" must admit don't really like them on my Mig, too...I'm not a car designer though so I have to believe in the knowledge of theirs so using them away.  :-\

It was to do with tyres when they chose the 15" wheels, to get the correct speed rating, and level of comfort desired the only way to fit such big tyres was to use smaller rims. Works well for me too as I also run winter tyres on a different set of rims :)

I had 15inch on my old PFL but 16,s on my Desmond and the ride seems a bit more skittish, is this a common
factor? ???

Those look like the standard gls wheels of that period - remember authorising the purchase of a gls omega for one our sales guys around that time and it came with those wheels.
