seen one on ebay can you use second hand ones and thanks to all the replies
it was my steering pump car is 10 times better thanks steve

you can. but how'd you know if its failed or not?

I bought a pas pump off the bay. it was as fekked as the one I was replacing

Consider that you can't test it's condition, that it's essential for the engine to to work, and that a new is about £60. That all makes a secondhand crank sensor a very poor buy.

Ref Crank sensor ...............

Definitely the sensor on its way out mate.
The only code present when I read them was 19 (no rpm signal)  ;)

As I said, if it goes then your engine stops, end of so get it sorted asap  ;)
