Title: buying another omega?
Post by: darrenfos on 21 December 2013, 19:45:28
am i mad to buy another omega just 4 the leather, i have a 2001 omega elite estate 2.6 manual its gold, not a mark on it at all that's why i wont just get another and sell this one, plus its only done 76k, only downside to the omega its material dont get me wrong no wear, spotless but prefer leather. So i am going to find another elite estate just for the leather.  (wont ever sell the jag s type not even a option) both are great cars in there own right.

i had another plan to buy an elite with leather and swap with my material seats and sell on, or just take seats out and scrap it

Better the devil you know. I'd stick with your own car and as said fit leather seats in it

If all you want is leather seats, etc then put a wtd advert in the section asking for a leather interior (complete) cost about £100.ish

Collecting interiors is simples. Remove back seats n squab, make sure new front seats are fully reclined, fit new rear squab, put both front seats in then rear seat beck on top. Drive home and fit, being care full not to drop front seats, as pre- tensioners might go BANG. :)

Yep, like your thinking  :y
Would certainly make it a bit easier, and would allow for a return on your initial payout. Unless of course you decided to break the donor altogether? Another challenge for you  ???
