I've just received another phone call from Jaguar customer service.
"We can only apologise Mr Opti, but we are finding it extremely difficult to source an XFR for a 24 hour test drive. However, we do have an XF 2.2 diesel that you can try out. :-[ ???
Shhheessshh........ I may as well test drive an Omega diesel. :( :( :(
He did offer me a test drive in an untaxed 09 XFR with trade plates, but only for an hour or so....and it's not quite the same as having the car all to yourself for 24 hours. :-\
Santa is dead. :'(
-
I'd take the hour on trade plates over the Mondeo lump for a day... the least they should/could do is provide you with a v6 diseasel ::)
-
Speak to Josh. He might have an
XFR mini metro in stock shortly ::)
-
This sucks! :'(
I was looking forward to a full TG video report!

I was looking forward to a full TG video report!
I was looking forward to pics of Mrs Opti (Dusty) draped over the bonnet in her Mrs Santa outfit. ::)

That is bad Opti! :o :o :o
No wonder BMW's and Mercs are everywhere! Why should Jaguar find it so difficult to find a test car for an important potential customer?
It makes me wonder. Now who owns Jaguar? ::) ::) ::)

I'll wager that Lexus customer service would find me the car I wanted, Lizzie.
.....and why promote a 24 hour test drive if you can't deliver what the (potential) customer wants?. :(
-
possibly because they have looked at your credit score????? :-X

Indeed, and they should hold their heads in shame! :( :(
By the way I love Jaguars and their latest models so I can appreciate why you want a test drive / own one! :D :D :y :y

as I said , here you would be lucky to have a test drive just for 10 minutes.. let alone an hour ;D
but of course if you are member of the "SHOE BOX PARTY" may well have the car for longer ;D ;D ;D

Aaah shame to disappoint Mrs Opti's sister :( :-\
