Title: Can Anyone Help With A Halfords Trade Club Price?
Post by: Squealey on 29 December 2013, 21:46:20
Evening All
My wifes bus (Toyota Estima) is in need of a new battery, it's an 068 type. My next door neighbour can use his sons trade card to get it if I want but I dont want to waste his time and mine if it turns out to be a lot more expensive than ebay or the like.

Is there any way to find out the price before I accept his generous offer? I have read that if you call them they wont give you t/c price over the phone.

Is there any chance chance someones recently purchased an 068 battery???

Thanks people

Wayne

Purchased a battery for a Ford Focus 1.8. Was around £90 and paid £64something iirc

Go for the halfords option. TC gives a good discount on car batteries and I wouldn't trust the bay of Es for one.

Yeah, call them. Trade prices aren't published anywhere...
