Title: Astra 1.6 SE
Post by: Shackeng on 10 January 2014, 16:38:40
A friend is interested in buying a year old Astra 1.6 SE locally. Does anyone have any useful comments, good or bad, about this model?  :y

Got exactly that model, cant fault it to be honest.

Not the fastest in the world (quite a big heavy car these days) but the economy is ok round town and on a run, engine has an unusal power delivery, very torquey at low revs.

Pretty well kitted out the SE spec is to with half leather, auto dim mirror, auto lights, auto wipers, trip computer, electric front and rear windows etc etc

It should cost a huge chunk less than a brand new car. I'd be looking for at least 50% off full list price. :y

We pretty much paid close to 50% of the list price for a new one....
