Title: What the BBC didn't want you to know....
Post by: Rods2 on 12 January 2014, 22:40:44
Who attended and funded their far reaching conference on green issues that has shaped their propaganda since then.

I have been following this story for several years where Tony Newbery has been fighting to get his FOI request answered.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2537886/BBCs-six-year-cover-secret-green-propaganda-training-executives.html (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2537886/BBCs-six-year-cover-secret-green-propaganda-training-executives.html)

I'm glad I no longer fund the BBC who are IMO a vile organisation, who take public money in the form of a TV tax and use it for their own extremist agenda, pay each other handsomely, while quite happily taking EU and any other money that is going to project their view of the world, while claiming with an air of superiority that they are impartial.  :( :( :( :(

TBH I thought it was sub-par.  But I am excited about the return of M :)

Grand scale propaganda is abolutely correct.  It is interspressed with probably some of the finest TV output in the world (exclude the billions of cooking and screw your house up cheapo crap and of course soap etc).  Its a fine tool for management of the "national herd".  Much reading between the lines is required.  ...C4 news at 7 isnt bad though.

Actually educating 70M individuals is a really bad idea as the great unwashed might actually form a concencus of opinion And be more likely to revolt (they would have to accept the label of being philistines and biggots initially)... they (we) are just considered revolting anyway.

Sorry for the noncoherent argument but I think I agree :-\

How very interesting. Far more interesting than Rods original post about the goings on at the BBC. If you're a three year old, that is.

Far more interesting than the loose stool water that poors from the DailyFail with such stunning regularity. Are we really allowing the Fail to judge? Really...? Your joking right?

A paper that's happy to turn everyone's brain into that of a constantly whining child if ever there was one. How they have the bare faced front to criticise anything in the modern day is just incredible. :o

I reckon you're a closet Daily Mail reader Chris!! :P  For someone who wouldn't wipe his arse with it, you hold strong opinions about it and seem to know a lot about the papers contents.....  ::)

Or maybe it's just that you look at The Mirror, but wish you could read The Daily Mail....  :-\  :D  ;D

It is so good to have a series like Sherlock that really makes you think and gets the brain working again. So much tv is now dumbed down but Sherlock is the gem shining out of all that. Really enjoyable with all the twists and turns and such clever abstract scenes where you see alternatives of what could happen next, plus the physical representation of what normally would be just hidden mental processes, as in the case of last nights shooting of Sherlock and his fight for life. Fantastic!! :y :y :y

I see the Fail attitude spread round the work place. And increasingly round here. Any facts are completely lost amongst the Fail attitude.

Even the Express is better, being obsessed entirely with the weather. ::) ....we're all going to drown, freeze, burn(delete as applicable) to death. It's the end if the wooorld, boooo, oppsing hooooo.

Opps off, the lot of em!

Ah yes The Express......  ::)

Their other obsession is house prices.  One week they're screaming that they're going up and the next they're going down!  ;D

With nothing to moan about everything would be mediocre :-\ At least the Beeb and Fail give perspective to the rest of the world, albeit skewed towards leftist/far right* miserablism...

By not paying them more than a cursory glance, you get more time to enjoy and appreciate other things :y Actually, what enjoying other things does for your blood pressure probably allows you more time anyways... so it's win win :y

Yep that too, although all the media outlets are less but similarly guilty on that front. Look up your, or any, property value on Zoopla or similar. You'll have to ignore the immediate value as they update it, or not, too irregularly, but look at the yearly chart on the property value.
Without fail, each year, there is a percentage increase and a seasonal rise for the summer with a tail off at Christmas after which it builds again.

But no. Not according to the media. Oh no, there a property boom. Prices are going through the roof. First time buyers will feel the pinch, what are we all to do.
Then, obviously, closely followed by a huge drop in prices as winter months approach. Oh no, it's all going to crash. What are we all to do. >:(

Let's cry wolf incessantly, yeah why not.

...ahem. (Cough.) sorry Rods, this BBC business. :-[ ;D

Obviously not happy, with all the data charges where you use their iPhone app all day everyday, otherwise how would you know if the editorial is good or bad?  ::) ::) ::) ::)
