I thought I'd go read the thread to see what had been tried already and see if the car really was a bargain or a potential money pit..

;D ;D If I was doing a v8 of any form I think it'd be an LS into the 3.2 .. I'm waiting to see how Mr Trailblazer gets on first, though ;D

Could always pop the diesel in the Corbra to annoy the purists ;D which would free up tother one for the Omega 8)

We trialled a glider winch with one of those in a couple of years back. Let's just say the power delivery wasn't really ideal for that role. ;D It was hard work and, at times, a bit scary, at both ends of the cable. ;D

Yes, when you hit the right combination of throttle position, revs and boost. Elsewhere, there's nothing, and the transition between the two is not subtle. ;D
