Title: Front shock absorbers, (struts)
Post by: Bikerdon on 22 January 2014, 18:20:58
Hi all, hoping that someone can help me out with the Vx part numbers for the front struts, they are for a 2001 2.6 CDX Omega estate, no mods or lowered sports chassis on it, the Vx parts guy was not very clued up on Omega's. (He looked about 16 anyway so guessing he's only interested in boy racer type motors) Anyway I've been trawling through various parts catalogues and even found some info on here but it's still a bit baffling as to which ones are correct for mine, any help is greatly appreciated. :)

My advice is to get some bilstein B4's as they are cheaper and a better shock

Any recommended suppliers? Or just search online?
A pair on the bay atm for £155?

Euro car parts or one of their spin offs (carparts4less?), plenty of discount codes online to get a bit more off usualy to  :y

On my 3.2 estate the original GM front struts are labelled as 9127831 & 9127832 but a recent receipt from Vx on Trade Club shows the replacement GM struts as V0009192249 & V0009192250.
As said, Bilstein B4's are slightly cheaper.
