Title: Aux belt tensioner - are they the same part...?
Post by: minifreek on 23 January 2014, 17:45:48
Well 1st major-ish problem Iv encountered with my omega, the aux belt tensioner roller has decided to depart company from the aux belt tensioner, so needs replaceing...... I happen to have a Vectra Im stripping and it has a X20XEV engine installed, that has a belt tensioner on it which I know is perfectly OK and I looked on a certain interweb auction site and the part numbers, from what I can see, are the same...... So Im presuming I can use the tensioner off the X20XEV on my V6...? Otherwise Im gonna have quite a hefty bill this week, unless I can buy the plastic ribbed thingymajigger on it's own...?
