Title: Removing fuel rail and inlet.

Hi peeps, whats the procedure for removing the fuel pipes on the fuel rail also theres one black tube with a nut that leads to master cylinder.Is it ok just to pull the injectors out with rail as need to get inlet manifold off as full of oil,2.2 cdx.Thanks

LOl whats that pipe thats on the left side of the inlet manifold black one .Is there a need to depressure fuel rail  :-\

yes-unless you want fuel spraying everywere--little valve under black plastic cover on top of rail-iirc

Cheers, and the other pipe is it ok to disconnect that,is it some sort of vacuum pipe to master slave cylinder.

yes thats fine-you need 17+19mm spanners for that-ok

Nice one, almost there its too good a motor to let it go.Is it ok to put injector rail back in or does it have seal of some type. :)

each injecor has a rubber O ring-with care can be refitted but tbh have known them to split -well on v6 anyway

Thanks gotta take inlet off as quite a bit of oil in there.Also the cambelt tensioner pulleys were done a year ago do you think its ok to reuse the same cambelt tensioner,its gates so good quality.

honestly mate I would do belt and tensioner and waterpump as well-check on some old threads on cam belts and 2.2 you will see what I mean mate
