I hope so, it does look like they are defusing the situation. It was a stupid decision with an irregular vote on anti-demonstration measures last week, which really ignited things last weekend. Today, the measures were annulled in a vote in their Parliament.  :y

Sadly today, three policemen were attacked and stabbed in Kherson with one dying.  :(

Nice to see the anti protest law annulled.

One or two countries in the EU have been bringing in right wing measures. Here in Spain they have a bill tabled for 30,000 euro fine for filming a policeman for example.
