I have got to say that the delorean was a compleat pile of crap, no wonder it bombed big time, the build quality makes British leyland look like Rolls Royce. :o

As far as I know the DeLorean is a bit of a kit car.  Renault 25 engine and box and and a lot of Ford running gear (Cotina if memory serves correctly)

The WIM open day sounds like a good day though.

Hopefully get chance to pop down later in the year.   :y :y

I've seen a better quality of finish on many kit cars. Not sure if I include my own in that. :-[

Wish I'd taken it along now. Would have got soaked on the way but it was quite nice for the drive back.

Good to see you all today. :y

The Mustangs were very nice. Even better when they fired them up and burnt some rubber for us!

Sorry that you couldn't make WIM today. Great news that she will make a full recovery though  :)
The Shelby Mustangs are really special, particularly the white one which is truly concours having been completely restored. The blue one is totally original and has never been touched!  I know the owner (brother-in-law) so could arrange a special viewing if you are ever in the Hemel area.

Gary I'm so pleased that you captured the mis-coloured repair on my drivers door, for everyone to see, in picture No.3  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Miggy should look a lot better next time you see it as replacement set of doors are iminent. ;D ;D

Nice pics --  Regards, Big Al  :y :y :y

No probs Mate, I can take a bit of banter.  ;D ;D ;D

I must point out though that the repairs had already been attempted by the previous owner. And that I rescued this lovely motor  before anymore possible fatal damage could be done to it. :( :(

I've nursed her back to good health now and she just needs a bit of the old cosmetic "make up" that all good looking ladies need ;D ;D ;D ;D

Great pics Gary. :y As already said, Tony and the boys put on a great day with good food and refreshments and some top motors. Loved the two Shelby Mustangs and oh did they sound good! WIM and Black Boots laid on a superb free raffle with some top prizes. Also a nice touch having a nice big LCD TV for the Monaco GP for the F1 fans which I thought I was going to miss.

Well done all at WIM and Black Boots. :y

As always it was good to see a few new faces and several old one's. :y
