Whats the biggest car from a drving seat you have ever driven.
I used to have a valeting company and had to pick cars up on a regular basis, so the automatic thing for me was to shove the seat back as far as possibe and then lower it as far as possible.
The difference in driving postions in some cars was amazing
Dunno the exact year but the old 300SL I think it was was the worst I have driven, No front/back seat movent worth talking of at all. Yet the 420SE it was like lounging on the settee at home, very spacious.
All Jags had the comfortable armchair feel but got narrower as the years rolled over.
Ford Granada Scopio, ok, best leather I have sat on todate.
Lotus Esprit Turbo, Very confined.
Honda Prelude 4WS, Excellent and roomy.
Mini best headroom, after a Miggy, but too low to get out off.
Carlton Ok, Senator Better, Headroom better on Miggy but slight narrower than Carlton and Senator.
But, and I say BUT, the ONLY car I ever brought the seat forward on because I couldnt reach the pedals was a
Wait for it

My mum and dad also had a lovely Granada, a perfect runner, comfy and spacious. Haven't seen one in ages

When I was 19 had a Rover SD1 which felt so roomy at the time. Really comfortable seats, seemed a massive gap between the front seats and although a 6 cyl (wanted a V8), still sounded nice.

If you think the Granada was big try the MK4 Zodiac, widest car I have driven, I think.
My Citroes C4 Grand picasso 7 seater feels large inside, miles away from the front window. :)

Talbot tagora, it was like driving your front room to work

I suppose you must have had to be quick driving thew Zodiac ..... before it rusted away! ;D Have you ever seen a Zodiac/Zodiac estate? Presumably a Farnham conversion. I've only ever seen 1 & it was huge.
My Dad's daily driver is a Mk II Granada estate, and as big as it seems, not much different to an Omega, it's a piece of cake to drive, as what you can see is virtually the ends of the car, they are so square.

My Wolseley 6/99 was quite spacious. All leather, walnut and rust.
Had a 3l lorry engine in it. A bit slow away from the lights, but it couldn't half shift after that :)
