swmbo and Miss Vamps wanted to go to Darlington shopping today, with a girlie slant to it, so I said I would drop them off and pick them up a couple of hours later, I would go and have a look at some cars, and she agreed...... :o :o
Darlington is a bit of a Mecca for used car sales, a couple of roads in particular and, last night, I had seen on Auto Trader a Dodge Caliber in Darlington, a place we rarely go to...... :D :D
Anyway had a look around, not sure what I want, but must be Auto, Miss Vamps impressed by the Dodge, me uncertain..... :-\ :-\
Ended up in Morrisons for late lunch and inside was a display of Chevrolet's and I am now under instruction to buy a Chevrolet Trax......... ;) ;)
I rather like it, suits what I may be looking for, but only available new and I hate the money you loose instantly when buying new..... :( :(

Vauxhall Mokka is the same car :y might get a pre reg deal, but be quick as end of '63 plate is only four weeks away :y
-
COF, looks like OOF will need renaming at this rate. ::) :o :o :o
-
Is that a Daewoo? :-\

Thanks for that, I can't believe they are even encouraging me to spend much more that I had planned, that or it is reverse psychology cos they know I am to tight to spend mega bucks on a car...... ;) ;) :-\ :-\

They look a bit like a pumped up Insignia don't they? ??? :-\
Have you looked at a Kia Sportage? They get good reviews and look quite good too! :)

Will take a look, Miss Vamps likes the Insignia but I prefer a higher seated car. Not ever certain I am looking, just took advantage of the opportunity, but the Jeep is getting high on miles now and is not the best MPG wise, though I do love it, in a straight line...... ;) ;)

I expected better from Vamps, I must admit :-\ Perhaps the smell of wee has drifted across the Pennines like a warm intoxicating mist ;D
By way of compromise Vamps,

Not sure about auto or not, but some choice of colour :-\ Selling like hotcakes though...

As I've said before, the smell of wee jibe is what drove our founder members from VxON. I would have thought a lesson may have been learned but, apparently not.
So, just to put the record straight, in the eyes of the rest of the motoring community, it's omegas that stink of piss. ;)

Did the doctor tell you that? Or was it the excuse you gave him ::)

STEMO doesn't smell of wee. His issue is "the other end".
When I had serious manflu, I seriously considered wetting myself, so I nearly stank of piss. But then, I am very old.
-
Old is a relative concept...
37 is old, 43 is not ;D

If he hasn't been back to the quack yet, his issues are plentiful, the other end being the least of them ::)

I don't think he did go back..... :-\
Ah well RIP STEMO ;D

Well...I certainly wouldn't ride in an omega taxi, not only would it stink of the previous owners, but there is always the danger of it disintegrating if there are puddles in the road. Imagine being in a hurry, and the driver keeps stopping to pick up bits of omega. ;D
"The price of cheese, sir? Terrible. Oops, won't be a minute, sir. Third runway? Good idea, I think. There goes another sill cover, shan't be a moment, sir." ;D
-
"Shit! That's the seventeenth driver that's run up my rear end this month".
We'll, if you keep stopping to pick up bits of car......... ;D

Why would my doctor tell me that? He doesn't drive a 12 year old bus, I don't think. :-\

You don't know, 'cos you won't go and see him! ::) Numpty! :P :)

I am perfectly fine, Sir Tig. They did enough tests to know if there was anything wrong. My GP would have been in touch if he needed to see me. I daren't call him out because he may just drive an omega and the poor man would be knackered jumping in and out of his car. ;D

They don't bother with people who do runners and I expect all those test results are in the bin now.... :-\

Ok Dr Tig. Which hospital do you work at again?

I don't work at a hospital Uncle STEMO, but I've spent enough time in them during the last 4 years to understand that if you are proactive about your health, then you will get better results from the NHS! ;)
Just go and get those results. What are you afraid of? ::)

I'm sure Miss Vamps will love the Vauxhall Mukka where it will be at home with all the other Chelsea tractors on the school run. ::) ::) ::) :P
-
Mr Vamps. Should you decide on a brand new Chevrolet/Daewoo you could always give it to Little Miss Vamps as a first car when it becomes worthless.
I'm aware that scenario is 18 months down the line, but it's still worthy of consideration. :) ;)
-
Snot a Taxi anymore, so :P
BTW, have you been to the quack yet ::)

To add, if Irmscher had designed the skirts properly, they wouldn't wash off in the rain ::)
