OE03 EWW 3.2petrol manual saloon
I have obtained a new retaining clip and with some difficulty inserted it in the the master cylinder output pipe. I find I cannot insert the pipe into the cylinder. A heater hose restricts access. Is it just that the angle is wrong, or do I have to remove the clip again to get the pipe in?

Thanks Seth. I have removed, and lost, my new clip. I still cannot get the pipe in. I think it must be alignment. The heater pipe make it difficult to get the pipe straight.

Does the pipe and fitting from master to box sit level and flush against the bulkhead :-\
If yes, the heater hose is dislocated, if no then pipe is not where it should be :-\

No. the pipe is coming vertically up, and the ninety degree bend is caught under the heater hose. I think before the pipe came horizontally out from the bulkhead before turning 90 degrees to face the master cylinder. I will check with the 2.5 in the morning. I suppose it must pass above one of the heater hoses.
