I have finally retro installed a new CID with NCDC2015; the sat nav, radio, full colour display, etc all work.
Sadly, the map function does not work. When selected, all I get is a black screen with interference; it's not getting any signal.
Could this be a problem with the HU?
Any ideas would be welcome.
Thanks

Most likely an issue with the RGB connection on the CID, is it plugged in fully?

Thanks Mark
It is fully plugged in; what confuses me is that everything else on the display works! Any idea which pin would directly affect this?

Which is what you would expect as the MAP function is the only bit that uses the RGB connection.
There is also the radio end to check, if you wiggle the wires in the rear of the CID does it alter the display appearance at all.

Had exactly this problem when I reconnected my CID on my much missed Elite after it was repaired by BBA reman. It turned out to be the RGB plug in the back of the CID. When the camlock on the plug was used it somehow distorted the plug so that it did not make contact properly. I solved problem by taking camlock and its cover off. Then wrapped a couple of turns of electrical tape around plug to ensure that it stayed in place in CID when pushed fully home. Job done :y. As Marks DTM says also need to look at radio end as well but my bet would be its the plug at the CID end.

As said, RGB cable is most likely.
I shoudl have some test equipment in a couple of weeks if you're still stuck :y

I've wiggled the RGB connector into the CID and done the same into the back of the HU; no joy. Completely checked the RGB cable for poor connections but cannot find any. TB, I may be calling on your services; could do with a Tech2 session anyway to set up the trip computer configuration with this tractor. Would be great if you could help ;)

Yeah, no probs. I don't have the equipment at the moment, but all parts of the plan are in motion, so give me a couple of weeks.
