Title: alternator wire issue

hi there i was just wondering if anyone could tell me if the small wire coming off my mv6 3.0 v6 alternator is the dash warning light for when it isnt charging im not sure but i think there is only two wires coming off it thanks

The smaller diameter cable of the two is indeed the return side of the dash warning light that indicates non charging.

hi thanks im doin an engine conversion and its the last thing i needed to wire up and was wanting to make sure it was the wire i needed thanks again  :)
