Title: Recommendations section.
Post by: Mr_P on 01 June 2008, 11:00:55
I would like to see a Recommendations section.  ;D
So if you have found a trust worthydealer, had a great service or found a great deal such as trade club or other service or parts offers then they could be listed here. :y

It has been discussed before, no decisions have been made as yet.

Thanks.  I'll look to see if I can find the thread but for now, how many of you would feel this would be a useful feature :question

i think its not a bad idea but maybe have it as a sticky topic where the 'Legal Questions' are :y

I have had a lot of bad experience (Not naming any names.... Carcraft) and would find it useful

Did you find the thread Mr_P?

The problem is, I've recommended local garages and the like to people where I've been left with a reasonable impression only for them to have poor service.

What you get out of a place probably depends on how you approach them, who serves you and what your expectations and budget are. In summary - variable.

There's also the "Volvo Forum" issue to consider if we start naming and shaming.

Recommendations wouldn't be a bad thing but should be restricted to the few suppliers who we unanimously agree give good service IMO.
