Well it was a toss up between keeping this Estate or keeping the newly acquired 3.2 Auto LPG Estate but not both, I have decided to keep the LPG Auto due to the amount of work recently done so this one is now available for sale.
2003 Estate 3.2 Manual Metallic Grey with 3.7 LSD, 122k, Mot till end of April 2014, just put 6 months Tax on her and this is reflected in the price.
Original Owners were Suffolk Police and I believed was used as an Unmarked Armed Response and keep the car till around 90K miles and looked after her well, I have the V5 Doc in my name and it states number of previous Owners as 2.
The Car is quick and drives bang on all nice and tight, good steering, suspension, brakes etc, without any thumps and rattles etc, you really can throw this around without issues, LSD is all working as it should and the correct Diff Ratio for a Manual with no shudders or vibrations and has got me out of trouble a few times in the snow last year, Manual Gearbox and Clutch are all good, Rear Self Levelling is fitted and fully working and of course being a Manual is quiet economical compared to the standard Auto Box fitments on the 3.2's. there is a slight wheel bearing noise from the rear but this has never shown issues on the last few MOT's.
Being Ex Police it is GLS spec interior, however I do have a set of FL MV6 Sports Clothe Interior which I never got around to fitting which comes free with the Car, or the same set up of Leather MV6 Estate Sports interior that you can buy as an option.
Body wise only real rust is below the rear wiper, common on Face Lifts rest of the body work is rust free but does show some signs of wear hear and there minor chips light scratch marks but dont show up too much as being a Metallic Grey.
Car has no Roof Rails but again a have sourced a set and will come with it, you just need to source the 4 rubber seals.
16" Alloys are fitted with all good tyres, only one key Im afraid, fairly sure I have the Car Pass for the Car somewhere.
No Pics at the moment as Car is not where I live so will post or PM Pics on request.
Vehicle Reg for some reason has been changed in its previous life and the current Index Plate shows it as an N Reg (maybe a Police thing?), V5 Doc shows as first registered in Jan 2003, I have the Paper Work showing the Original Plate as AV**LSJ
Price , Im looking for £975 ono, any questions please ask.
Thanks Chris. ;)

Been asked some questions so thought I would post them up. ;)
Whats the Paint Code, is it a light Black in Colour?
Paint Code: 155/54L,3KU: Moonland Met (00-), its a Metalic Grey looks more like a dark graphite silver if that makes sense.
Does Log Book say MV6 or GLS?
Niether, V5 States, Omega V6 Special, maybe shouldn't have mentioned GLS. Interior is GLS spec, it has HID Lights, Washers, Fog Lamps etc. the Front Head Lights could do with a 3M or T Cut to bring them back to life, fairly sure I get a good set of HIDs kicking around so I will throw them is as good measure. ;)
Any Aerials or Holes on the roof?
No Ex Pold Aerials, has the GM Radio one fitted, no signs of other Aerials fitted, if they were its been Professionally made to look good.
Interior panels are good, no big or missing holes or cut outs, even has a front Ash Tray, not sure if it works though, has a normal FL Arm Rest unlike most plod that have there own version of the older PreFace type.
Has a 2005 HU all working with the six speakers. ;)

Another question, it does not state Auto or Manual on the V5, the Manual Box is not retro fitted, it was fitted at the Factory as part of the requested spec.

Being as I have just had a major setback with the 2.5TD I might well be in the market for a nice estate, this sounds like it could be 'The One' !
Have you had any serious offers on this yet?
My problem is location, location, location. Oh and time of course, currently offshore the Congo, not due back home until 4th March then I have to get over to Scotland to see the new arrival (should be today I think)
and I didn't plan on staying in blighty for too long either, however....... things change.
Epping Forest??? Thats some trip down.....
We'll see.

I had some interest and a lot of questions, a couple of people want to come and view, but no definite offers on the table, if Im honest. Its on been on since Sunday night so maybe early days yet. will leave it here for a week before putting on the usual place for sale for a bit more money.
Im only 20 mins from Stanstead if you want to see what Easyjet or Ryanair can do from Scotland. ;)

I may well be coming from Spain, yet to decide what to do, but the drive up north would be an excellent test.......
I need a bit more time as still exploring the engine transplant option.

Chris, if you decide to break it, i'll have first dibs on everything i'll need to convert my auto to a manual :y :y :y :y

Some pics? or are they already on the forum?

Will try and get some pics sorted in a day or two, as said Cars not near me at the moment and every time I pass its always too dark in the evening. ::)

Break It!, hasn't even crossed my mind TG, struggling to convince myself I should even sell it TBH.
The chances of a good running late 2003 3.2 plod Manual Estate thats not white in colour coming up again are not really on the cards in my opinion.

Oh yes?
I'm looking at my options for travel at the moment as I have to visit Cornwall as well as Scotland, Mum not too well down south and brand new baby up in Scotland.
I'm struggling to find a replacement engine for the TD for a decent price, there are options out there but they are all mainly time consuming rather than a quick fix (transplant of complete unit) and I do need a car that I can trust.
Just enquiring, can you fit prefacelift interior into facelift?
Cheers

I'll pm you later Jon on the other options rather than post on this thread. as for fitting PreF into a FL its a No ideally, PreFace seats dont have Airbags, Mini PreFace have Airbags but dont have the FL Head Restraint System Upgrade. ;)

Yea, as long as there not too close together, as in mangled metal together, ;), sounds like a plan though, Joshwatt and I have a plan for a jolly one day, as we both have unmarked TVP Saloons that are sister cars with I digit (letter) away from each other. ;)
Reckon with amount of ex iPlod Vechiles on OOF, we've probably got enough between us to start our own Force soon. ;D

It would be more reliable than some of the crap they're using currently ::)

Going to place this on Hold for the time being, mainly due to the fact I had to borrow Engine ECU, Transponder and Chip from the Car in order to aid with another project.
Thanks to those who express an intrerest.

Thanks Chris. ;)
