The earliest is Model Year 94, so available from Aug 93. Any that were L reg are likely to have been test/press ones :-\
Still see the occasional M reg ones around, usually TDs.
-
Yes TB this was a td,really dull but the guy was driving it pretty hard!
-
I had a G Reg. Carlton Estate a few years back - Midnight Blue metallic - which I loved but it had difficulty retaining its bodily fluids and various other problems, culminating in a blown head gasket, whereupon it was time for it to go to that great motorway in the sky!

A filthy green Mreg GLS passed me, (i was on my bike :P) at local Asda yesterday. Sounded ok though.

Apparently X plates are old, last time I rang up for parts at Vx dealer, quoted the reg. Reply was..
"X plate? Blimey that's an old one" :D

Maybe just as well my local dealer has the reg for my 'S' plate on speed dial :-[ It's always a pain though when they take on 'an apprentice', glad I have my trusty EPC so I can quote them the part numbers.
There's an 'M' plate and an 'R' plate around my way - think they're both 2L 16v, will need to take a closer look next time.

I know what you mean when i took my 02 for MOT ,tester was suprised i still had it on the road!As if it was a rare antique >:(

Actually i will put a picture up.But i dont think you would be impressed as the bodywork could do with tidying up.But i have always looked after the engine and evrything else.I wonder how much a respray would be? :y
-
Too much probably, the running part is the most important :y

You are right mate, but i would happily spend say £500 on a respray :y
-
There a 2 v reg 2ltr ones around here one is a mfl and the other is a fl so that is one of the oldest fl ones. :-\
-
Just had a full respray in Nocturno blue on mates rates including two rear arches as well....£2200.00 :o

A quick blow over with minimal prep work would be about a grand :-\ same money would see it wrapped...

The only way you'd get close to £500 would be to do every bit of the prep yourself, unfortunately.

Hmm, same colour as my newly acquired... do you leave it parked outside? Are the bumper fittings easy to release? ;)

My L reg Omega had an R in the VIN number.
It had done 201,000 miles when it failed the MOT due to rot under the plastic sill covers :'(

I couldn't do that, I get far too attached to my cars. As much as I do dogs.

There is one of the first Spanish Omegas in a village near us. Basic 2.5 diesel but with alloy wheels that were also standard fit on Senators.

Funny that, I've just had mine plated there, just Hammerited it this AM, but unfortunately discovered more to be done on the frame member underneath just forward of the idler arm, so back to the welding shop. >:( >:( >:(
