Title: This should annoy that gixer....
Post by: tunnie on 27 February 2014, 16:13:39
Seeing as he cancelled Sky Sports  ;D

Sky Sports will show Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool at least three times each in April, as part of unrivalled live coverage of the closest ever Premier League title race.

Viewers can enjoy 17 live matches on Sky Sports in April, including a record 16 fixtures involving teams currently in the top six.  Never before has Sky Sports shown so many matches featuring top of the table teams in one month.

The selections mean during March and April, 29 of 33 live matches on Sky Sports will feature teams in the race for the Premier League title and those in the hunt for Champions League qualification.

Sky Sports will also be the only place to watch the current top four teams in May, with at least seven live matches during the final two weeks of the season. Only on Sky Sports can viewers enjoy in April:

A record 16 matches involving at least one team from the current top six
17 teams in 17 live matches
13 of the month’s 14 matches involving teams currently in the top four
All of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool’s fixtures live
The current top four teams shown at least three times each
Live coverage of the two top four head to head fixtures
On average, four live matches each weekend of the month
Three ‘triple-header’ Super Sundays
Ten matches in nine days between 19 -28 April
Across March and April, Sky Sports viewers can therefore enjoy:

29 of 33 live matches featuring teams in Premier League and Champions League hunt
All 20 teams live
Nine fixtures featuring clashes between teams currently in the top seven
Stand out live fixtures in April include Liverpool v Manchester City on 13 April, Liverpool v Chelsea on 27 April and Everton v Arsenal on 6 April.

He probably will not see this as we fully expect by now that VM will have collapsed.

He may be at the Parish Hall doing his "Emerging Market Cake Decoration Course".

Tales from the potting shed.

Nobody has to pay for it though chaps. Its s choice. Its first class IMO.

But then all that have to do is beat the competition. Which isn't up to much currently.

Good elements from Bt and the BBC but sky is a more complete package.

However, I do find sky corporation exceptionally greedy in their approach. From that point off view there does need to be more competition. But that competition should not be to the detriment of the consumer.

Which is where the current situation falls flat on its greedy face.

Still. I now have sky sports, bt sports and Espn and Movies on demand.

(The greed element partly covers release dates on sky movies before the dvd's and Blu-rays have even hit the shelves)
