I would like to access this panel, left of the headlamp switch to fit a switch for my intercooler fan in place of the trafficmaster switch. How does this panel come off please? Also, is there an ign. live in this area, possibly to the TM switch?

I'm sure someone must have had this panel off. Any hints?

Pop the side cover off and all will be exposed

Nope, just the light switch loom. You can pick up an IGN live in the fuse box right next to it :y

OTTOMH...
Headlight swith out, two screws hidden at the top of the hole.
Vent out, 1 screw hidden there.
Panel should then be free...
To remove the rest of it you need the door and cubby box open, rest of screws are end on, and a couple are a bit tricky to see, so undo what you can see, and gentle levering will point you to the rest :y
All the screws should be cross headed rather than torx :y

Thanks Al, I managed to prise the TM switch out without removing the panel, and feed wires in to the new ON/OFF switch via the side panel. In any case I still could not see how the vent or headlamp switch panel come out. :-[ :-[ :-[

Easiest way to get the headlight switch out is either feeler gauges either side or lever it out with a modest flat bladed screwdriver from behind the end panel :y

I don't thing removing headlight switch gains any access, as its not a "hole", but a fully covered box/moulding.
TM switch prises out.
Panel removal is a bit fiddly, a few not obvious screws and a lot to disconnect. I should have taken photos when I last did it :-[

Popping the headlight switch and removing the plug clipped to said 'box' allows access to the screws which hold that trim panel to the structure behind :y

Soz, I misunderstumbled what you meant earlier :y

I tried the 'feeler gauge' each side of the HL switch box but could'nt get enough leverage against the clips. Anyway, I've got the switch wired now, which fits exactly in the old TM hole, I have taken the ign live from the cig lighter - yes properly soldered and shrink wrapped - as I don't use the socket much, only ocsnly for sat nav charging, and it is only power to operate a relay so should not be too much current.
Thanks for all the helpful comments. :y :y :y
