Title: Headlight bulb flicking on then off

When I turn my headlights on my drivers side light flicks on then off is this just a dodgy bulb or do I need a new unit  :(

Sounds like dodgy connection/earth ;)  (assuming as CD, hids not fitted)

As your profile suggests you have a CD, it should be halogen, so need to meter through looking for poor connections.

If you've been a naughty boy and fitted HIDs, probably the bulb, but swap with the other side, just to ensure its not the ballast (as quality bulbs are about £35 each)

I havent done any work with hid's before so I not got a clue what the ballasts are and what they are used for
