Title: Heater playing up
Post by: Tony H on 04 March 2014, 19:27:47
Hi all, is there any link with the outside temperature sensor and the cabin heater? The reason I ask is they both seem to have malfunctioned at the same time (or is that just coincidence) the heater only blows hot air when it is set on the "HI" and the outside Temperature reading was displaying either 58 oC or 63 oC now it just  displays F oC.
Can anyone shed any light on this problem
TIA

If you have "climate control" ... then yes ... it changes the temp of the air supplied dependent on the OAT .. it looks like yours thought it was hot outside so only supplied cold air. The "F" now means it thinks its failed !!  Check the sensor/connections, under the front bumper
