Title: Persia Mica or Black boot hinges..... wanted, and possibly boot lid too....

My boot hinges have failed on the 'stops' that are there and the boot has gone all the way back and hit the rear window... thankfully the rear window isn't broken but the edges of the bootlid have bent and paint has flaked off... Th paint flaking isnt a problem as I'll get meself a touch-up pen but the hinges need replaceing....

I would prefer the hinges to be in Persia mica or black please.... I think gold or silver might look a bit wrong LOL

There was a black one in a breakers in Birkenhead a while ago, try calling the ones on Cleveland Street

I would prefer somewhere a bit more local to meself TBH...

Theres a breakers not that far from me I might pay them a visit at the weekend and see what they have...

Does anyone know if theres a difference between preface and facelift hinges...? just incase thats all they have in...

I found to my cost that the rear lights are certainly different......

Saloon or estate? Sounds like saloon, but profile says different :-\

There's Gadbury's at Atherton ...... it's been many a year since I've been there though so have no idea what they have in. It is/was one of the few yards I've been where you're not wading in mud.

I know Gadbury's very well Andy, I used to live about 300yds away from the place until i was in my late 20's and got married and moved away from the Gibfield estate ;), Iv not been round there for many many years, I do drive past on my way to my Mums and always think I'll have a mooch round there on my way back but never do LOL
