Title: mystery plug
Post by: davieboy0312 on 06 March 2014, 13:44:11
I am in the process of stripping my omega for a media blast and painting

But above the bonnet release pull I found a 8 prong plug meaty plug wrapped in cardboard looks like factory as well as it has cable wrap tape on it as well

Anyone any ideas?

its definitely part of the loom its wrapped in the same tape all the other wires are wrapped in. its not cut and joined anywhere. it was just stuck behind bonnet release plate behind kick panel

All the connections for that are in the boot/nearside wheel arch area :y

None of the plugs look like the OPs either :-\

Ah, ok :y I only have the rear kit, but it stands to reason that the front one, where optioned would plug in somewhere :y

No just talking rear on mine but there are 2 looms. There will be a part no. and drawing on the vx disc (the name of which escapes me as I am err. out of office) to compare it with.
