Taken from the classified advertisements in this week's Autocar magazine.
P5 STU............This apparently reads as 'Stuart's Porsche' and costs £10,000. Total insanity. :(
V800 MUD........ This is apparently Ideal for the Off-Road enthusiast. Cost £5,000. :(
M3 WLL...........William's M3........For £3,000 they must surely be taking the piss. :(
The links on some of these plates is tenuous to say the least. ;D ;D

None of those plates are worth more than the standard £250 that DVLA charge for them.
Best plates I've ever seen is BOL 10X (no need to spell that one out) which was on a Roller that belonged to the owner of Sinatra's nightclub in West Croydon back in the early eighties, and GCL 1T (G Clit) which was on a MK 4 Cortina that a mate owned (also very early eighties).

I doubt it, if you can buy the M3 or P5 plate for £250 then please do so and I will happily pay you £300 each for them........ :y :y
On a more serious note, I am interested in a pre or post suffix plate with ELF in it........ :y :y

We have had cherished number plates for several years now ,T1LBO, T11LBO & 235 AET are currently on our vehicles .The first one I purchased( 235 AET ) in 1987 from a dealer for £495.00 the other two I purchased directly from the DVLA site, T1LBO cost me £500.00 & I have turned down an offer of £4,000 for it some years ago , I have had several others along the way which have been sold ,always for a good profit, many years ago I bought 5016 VW for £140.00 & sold it via the exchange & mart for £800.00 3 days later , so buy right & they are a good investment .

Best plate I saw was on a Mercy and it read P155 AWF. ;D

Interesting, Mr Tilbo.
Profit from private registration plates. Not something I'd previously thought of. :y
