After finding a fault last week, yesterday evening I turned up with spares, and watched in awe as he swapped the bits over. Glad I didn't attempt it on my own, as with some of the semi seized bolts, I reckon I would have been in trouble. Thanks again, Master :y
Mrs DTM, who now has a new nickname, still hasn't slammed the door in my face. Note to self, must try harder!
Journey home was a sod, A46 shut, had to follow diversions via Melton Mowbray, stuck behind a tanker all the way, and didn't want to risk the EML coming on half way through a dodgy overtake. Had EML pop on just past Leicester Forest services so couldn't stop for ages, and by the time I hit Watford Gap, I had it up to ramming speed. Had to restart it when I got off the M1 at Northampton, but came back on (at a much lower RPM than before, guessing due to being able to get more air in now) within a mile, so 45mph all the way home :-[. Rolled in just before midnight.

I hear that these new Daewoo's are pretty good. Perhaps TB could be tempted. ::) ::) :)
