Title: Man U v Liverpool
Post by: Stemo on 16 March 2014, 11:55:33
Looking forward to this. Should be a good game. I can't lose, of course. A Liverpool win or a draw would suit me fine but, just in case, I've backed Man U.  ;D

7/5 Man U, 7/4 Liverpool. £500 would get me £1200.

Just trying to decide whether to watch this match in Manchester on tv in local pub (always entertaining) with a few pints of Stella. Or drive back down M6 and beat the wife tomorrow instead.

looking forward to this Stemo, massive game for Liverpool, I, m dreaming of 3 points here.

Defence wise I think we will conceed 1 but strike wise 3 for us is easily possible.

So going 3 -1 Liverpool

Watched 10 minutes of Carragher and Redknapp stating the bloody obvious. No insight on the tactics employed in games like this.

The counters board showing De Gea up front with Mata in goal sums these two and Sky up.

No No No . .  what are you doing Brendon Rogers . . just seen Joe Allen is starting. Bound to be another poor performance from a player who always looks out of his depth at Liverpool :( :( :(

Never hand ball.
No. The referee, the linesman, the commentators and most of the ground were all wrong. He never touched it. ;D

Gerrard has got Clattenberg playing well today. All his wee words in his ear during the game have proved fruitful.

Not to bothered about the result still smarting over the fact that we beat Chelski yesterday, seems we have done the scousers a favour to. :y

Bit like saying it's not 3-0 really. ;D

Fair play to Liverpool. Out played, out desired, out managed.

Seriously, I see a Man U that reminds me of Liverpool 20 years ago. When teams stopped being frightened of coming to Anfield the writing was on the wall. We totally lost our way and, despite being able to give anyone a game on our day, we were never serious contenders.
Someone in the hierarchy at Man U better do something, quick, because, once the rot sets in, it's very hard to get back.
Rooney, Van Persie and Mata are all playing out of position. Ferdinand, Vidich and Evra are past it. Evans, Cleverly, Wellbeck and a couple of others are not good enough to play for Man U.
I'm surprised to say that I'm quite sad about the whole thing. :(

Great result. And Never in doubt for me. Can Liverpool win the league? Why not. I honestly believe they are good enough, just need that wee bit of luck with other results in the next few weeks.
